KISS Drummer PETER CRISS Says He Was Disrespected By STANLEY, SIMMONS

March 3, 2004

Original KISS drummer Peter Criss has slammed Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons for apparently opting to utilize Eric Singer during the group's upcoming tour of Japan and Australia without ever approaching him to discuss his possible participation in the trek.

Writing to his official web site, www.petercriss.net, Peter said, "I have been receiving thousands of fan mail as to what is going on with KISS. Today [March 2], my contract ran out. No one, again no one has called me, or my attorney about an extension for future touring. As a founding member I find this to be disrespectful to me, and to the fans that have made us one of the biggest bands in the world. You will always get the truth from me, I have no reason to lie to the people that gave me such a wonderful life. And that's the god's honest truth. God bless, Peter Criss P.S.: This is the stuff that breaks my heart."

As previously reported, the following is believed to be the complete itinerary for KISS' upcoming tours in Australia/Japan:

May 08 – Perth, AUS @ Burswood Dome
May 11 – Adelaide, AUS @ AEC
May 13 – Melbourne, AUS @ Rod Laver
